Hrishikesha played His Pānchjanya conch, Dhananjaya (Arjuna) his Devdutta, while Vrikodara Bhima let out a deep blast from his mighty Paundra conch. (1:15)

पाञ्चजन्यं हृषीकेशो देवदत्तं धनंजयः ।
पौण्ड्रं दध्मौ महाशङ्खं भीमकर्मा वृकोदरः॥

Commentary
Hrishikesha" means "the lord of the senses." It is one of the many names of Sri Krishna.
