Commentary
Bhagawān Krishna emphasizes the significance of reasoning, intellect, questioning, and applying intelligence to discover truths, including spiritual ones, throughout the Gitā. This verse also underscores the dignity given by God to debates and logical discernment. This approach contrasts with many Indian and other world scriptures that often exclude reasoning from discussions on religion and spirituality.
