Word-by-word

Commentary

In the preceding 10th chapter, the Lord discussed His vastness and magnificence, concluding that He permeates and sustains the entire cosmos with just a fraction of His essence. This instilled in Arjuna a longing to witness His splendor with his own eyes, instead of having just an abstract idea of His immensity and opulence, even though the full majesty of God is challenging to perceive in a tangible form.
