The Yoga of the Field and the Knower of the Field
क्षेत्रक्षेत्रज्ञविभागयोग
Meaning
Supreme God Krishna spoke
Steadfastness in spiritual Knowledge, {which encompasses understanding the Self's distinction from matter and the material body, as well as recognizing its unity with God} along with a clear understanding of the purpose of Truth-seeking, constitutes Knowledge. Anything contrary to this signifies Ignorance. (13:11)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
अध्यात्मज्ञाननित्यत्वं तत्त्वज्ञानार्थदर्शनम् ।
एतज्ज्ञानमिति प्रोक्तमज्ञानं यदतोऽन्यथा॥

अध्यात्म-ज्ञान-नित्यत्वम्, तत्त्व-ज्ञान-अर्थ-दर्शनम्,
एतत् ज्ञानम् इति प्र-उक्तम्, अ-ज्ञानम् यत् अतः अन्यथा।
Commentary
(In this chapter, before delving into the indicators of knowledge, God primarily discussed the concept of the Field, referring to the body, and briefly mentioned the soul—the Knower of the Field—revealing that it is God Himself. Now, the Lord will elaborate on the nature of God in greater detail, emphasizing that God exists within all bodies as the Kshetrajna or soul. God, as the ultimate object of Knowledge, is the One to be known.)
