ज्ञानकर्मसन्न्यासयोग
Meaning
Supreme God Krishna spoke
Some dedicate the actions of their senses and the movements of their life-breath into the luminous fire of self-discipline, kindled by spiritual wisdom. (4:27)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
सर्वाणीन्द्रियकर्माणि प्राणकर्माणि चापरे ।
आत्मसंयमयोगाग्नौ जुह्वति ज्ञानदीपिते॥

सर्वाणि इन्द्रिय-कर्माणि, प्राण-कर्माणि च अपरे,
आत्म-संयम-योग-अग्नौ जुह्वति ज्ञान-दीपिते।
Commentary
This verse alludes to Dhyāna Yoga, or the Path of Meditation, where Prānāyāma, or breath control, plays a pivotal role in self-discipline and Self-realization. Detailed methodologies of such meditative practices can be found in Sage Patanjali’s renowned work, the Yoga-sutra.
