न माम् दुष्कृतिनः मूढ़ाः प्र-पद्यन्ते, नर-अधमाः;

Commentary

Evildoers, individuals with low moral character, and those inclined toward demonic behavior often do not worship God, even though they may choose to worship other deities.

It’s crucial to note that not all atheists, skeptics, or agnostics can be categorized as having demonic qualities simply because they do not seek refuge in God. They are not "evil-doers, lacking in wisdom, and lowly individuals, whose understanding is clouded by delusion." Instead, they are often enlightened individuals in their own right. They also do not inherently "possess demonic qualities." Therefore, it's important to make a clear distinction between these two concepts.
