The Yoga of the Division between Divine and Demoniac Natures
दैवासुरसम्पद्विभागयोग
Meaning
Supreme God Krishna spoke
O Arjuna! There are two distinct types of individuals in this world—those with a divine nature and those with a demonical disposition. I have already elaborated on the qualities of the divine nature. Now, listen to the attributes of those with a demonical nature. (16:6)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
द्वौ भूतसर्गौ लोकेऽस्मिन्दैव आसुर एव च ।
दैवो विस्तरशः प्रोक्त आसुरं पार्थ मे शृणु॥
Word-by-word
द्वौ भूत-सर्गौ लोके अस्मिन् दैवः आसुरः एव च,
दैवः विस्तरशः प्रोक्तः, आसुरम् पार्थ मे शृणु।
Commentary
In the first three verses of the chapter, God elaborated on the qualities of the divine nature. Even before this, He, in chapter 12, elaborately mentioned the characteristics and values that endear someone to Him.
