श्रद्धात्रयविभागयोग
Meaning
Supreme God Krishna spoke
This "sut" is used in two senses—existence and virtuosity; and O, Pārtha, it is also used to denote good deeds. (17:26)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
सद्भावे साधुभावे च सदित्येतत्प्रयुज्यते ।
प्रशस्ते कर्मणि तथा सच्छब्दः पार्थ युज्यते॥
Word-by-word
सत्-भावे, साधु-भावे च, "सत्" इति एतत् प्र-युज्यते;
प्रशस्ते कर्मणि तथा "सत्" शब्दः, पार्थ, युज्यते।
Commentary
Like in the words satkarma, sadbhvāvanā, sadprayāsa, “sut” is used for good deeds.
