Supreme God Krishna spoke
O Bhārata Scion! Listen to My considered view about the different ways to renounce the fruits of actions. There are three kinds, O the Lion-among-Men! (18:4)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
निश्चयं श्रृणु मे तत्र त्यागे भरतसत्तम ।
त्यागो हि पुरुषव्याघ्र त्रिविधः सम्प्रकीर्तितः॥

'त्यागः' हि, पुरुष-व्याघ्र, त्रि-विधः सम्-प्र-कीर्तितः।
