Supreme God Krishna spoke
I have imparted this supremely confidential knowledge to you; now, after careful contemplation, do as you like. (18:63)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
इति ते ज्ञानमाख्यातं गुह्याद्गुह्यतरं मया ।
विमृश्यैतदशेषेण यथेच्छसि तथा कुरु॥

इति ते ज्ञानम् आ-ख्यातम् गुह्यात् गुह्य-तरम् मया;
वि-मृश्य एतत् अ-शेषेण, यथा इच्छसि तथा कुरु।
Commentary
In verse 5:14 of the Bhagavad-Gitā, God affirms that He does not create agency or doership in anyone, highlighting the principle that individuals possess Freedom of Will. Consequently, God does not force or pressure Arjuna but instead leaves him with the freedom to exercise his own will and make choices. He advises Arjuna to take responsibility for his actions after thoroughly considering the guidance provided by the Lord, ultimately stating, “Do as you wish.” This underscores the significance of individuals making informed and conscious decisions while recognizing their own agency and accountability for their choices.
