Supreme God Krishna spoke
You have control over your actions, but not over their outcomes. Therefore, do not let the fruits of your actions be your motive. Nor should you become attached to inaction. (2:47)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥
Word-by-word
कर्मणि एव अधिकारः ते, मा फलेषु कदाचन!
मा कर्म-फल-हेतुः भूः, मा ते सङ्गः अस्तु अ-कर्मणि।
Commentary
The verse reveals that individuals have "control over their actions" if not over the outcomes. This unveils the existence of Freedom of Will among humans. While many other verses (3:7; 5:14, 15; 6:5,6; 18:63; also reinforce this idea, it's important to consider them alongside verses that outline the boundaries of the freedom of choice conferred upon human beings, such as 3:5,27; 18:59,60 and many more.
