Supreme God Krishna spoke
Men fall into rebirth from the supernal planet of Brahmā and all other ethereal worlds downwards. But, on reaching Me, O, son of Kunti, there is no return to reincarnations. (8:16)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
आब्रह्मभुवनाल्लोकाः पुनरावर्तिनोऽर्जुन ।
मामुपेत्य तु कौन्तेय पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते॥

आ-ब्रह्म-भुवनात् लोकाः, पुनः-आ-वर्तिनः, अर्जुन!
माम् उपेत्य तु कौन्तेय, पुनः जन्म न विद्यते।
Commentary
The realm of the Semi-God Brahmā exists on a higher plane than heaven (Indraloka).
