Supreme God Krishna spoke
The ones who lack good sense show disdain for Me when I assume the human form, unaware of My higher nature as the Supreme Lord of the universe. (9:11)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
अवजानन्ति मां मूढा मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम् ।
परं भावमजानन्तो मम भूतमहेश्वरम्॥

Commentary
Here is a reiteration of the Avatāravada or Avatārism—the theory of God-the-Supreme assuming a human form from time to time.
