Commentary

The projection on the screen in a movie theatre resides within the projector, yet the projector is not within the panoramic world displayed on the screen. Similarly, the phenomenal world or the cosmos is a projection originating from God. Both God and the cosmos exist, but their modes of existence are distinct, akin to a dream and the dreamer coexisting but with differing modes of existence. The dream lacks independent existence.
