Supreme God Krishna spoke
{Not only the renunciant monks, even} The ones who discharge all their worldly duties staying in My shelter attain the timeless, changeless, Supreme Station {Nirvāna, which the renunciants finally attain} through my Grace. (18:56)

श्रीभगवान् उवाच
सर्वकर्माण्यपि सदा कुर्वाणो मद्व्यपाश्रयः ।
मत्प्रसादादवाप्नोति शाश्वतं पदमव्ययम्॥
Word-by-word
सर्व कर्माणि अपि सदा कुर्वाणः मत्- वि-अप-आश्रयः।
मत् प्रसादात् अव्-आप्नोति शाश्वतम् पदम् अव्ययम्।
Commentary
Verses 49 to 55 of this chapter describe the path of renunciant monks who forsake all worldly pursuits, dwell in solitude, engage in meditation on God, study sacred scriptures, and ultimately attain the Supreme Divine (Brahm). However, with verse 18:56, the Lord shifts the focus to Action Yogis, who do not renounce the world but instead fulfill their worldly duties while still attaining God and Nirvāna.
