Commentary
The renunciation of attachment to actions and their fruits (outcome) is a mental, intellectual process through which Action Yogis (Karma Yogis) attain detachment. That is why Sri Krishna occasionally uses the term “Intellect Yoga” (Buddhi Yoga) for Action Yoga. Indeed, Buddhi Yoga, as a mental state, is at times associated with Knowledge Yoga as well, considering that Buddhi represents the cognitive aspect that is highly developed in practitioners of Knowledge Yoga.
